Shah Rukh, Farah Khan release dates clash

Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan are both involved in films scheduled to come out on the same day.

Both Shah Rukh's co-production with Karan Johar, Student of the Year, and Farah's Joker - directed by husband Shirish Kunder - will release the last weekend of August, the Mumbai Mirror claims.

"I am not aware of the release date of the other film. As far as I am concerned, Joker is definitely coming on the 31st of August," said Kunder.

The Ra.One and Tees Maar Khan directors are known to allocate an extensive budget towards the marketing of their productions.

"Farah and SRK are both extremely strong headed. They will start a volley of verbal attacks and not leave any stone unturned for their film to be in the news," a source revealed.

Although Shah Rukh has acted in Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om for the choreographer-turned-director, they now reportedly share a strained relationship.

Student of the Year stars an ensemble cast of new talent, with Joker featuring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in its lead roles.
