The actress has received an award for her performance as a serial husband killer in Saat Moon Khaf.
Chopra told Hindustan Times: "I like doing negative-related
roles. I think they are lots of fun. It's so good being bad.
"I think the most important thing in a character is to see that it has a presence. A character should not feel wasted or redundant. Even if it is a small role, the scenes that you have should make an impact, that is important."
The Don 2 star has previously said that Bollywood actresses are now leading films by themselves.
Chopra will next be seen playing a mute girl in Barfee and taking on the role of Kaali in Agneepath.
In October, she admitted that her part in Barfee has been the most difficult of her career so far.
