Director Gautham Menon has revealed that audiences will be surprised by the climax of Ekk Deewana Tha.
He also revealed that the plot of the film was actually rewritten around the AR Rahman soundtrack.

The filmmaker said of the Prateik and Amy Jackson starrer: "Ekk Deewana Tha will have a surprise ending to watch out for."
Menon went on to say: "I had the story and screenplay ready. It's my first film with Rahman and he was keen to give the music and actually gave more songs than the film required. Listening to the songs, I built a fresh screenplay around them."
Rahman's music was unveiled at the Taj Mahal at the end of last year.
UK model Jackson began her film career in the South Indian film industry.
The film releases February 17.
