Ranbir Kapoor: 'I grew up on B-grade porn'

Ranbir Kapoor has admitted to watching semi-porn movies as he was growing up.

The actor revealed that he viewed similar films to the B-grade adult film that his character watched in Rockstar, reports The Times of India.

Kapoor explained: "In fact, I grew up on Junglee Jawaani. Guess I realised I was a man when I started going for those kind of films."

The 1989 project features in a scene from the Imtiaz Ali release where Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri's characters watch the film in a cinema together.

In November, actress Ashika Suryavanshi announced plans to sue Ali for misusing her image in that particular scene.

The starlet appears briefly in the movie in a clip of a so-called porn film called Jungle Love, said to be based on the original Junglee Jawaani.
