Shahid Kapoor: "Right now I am unemployed"

Shahid Kapoor has said that he is presently unemployed.

The star said that after completing work on Teri Meri Kahaani with Priyanka Chopra, he has no other filming commitments, reports Mid Day.

"I don't like to comment on any of my films till the producers make an official announcement. All I can say is I don't have any films right now. So right now I am unemployed," said Kapoor.

However, the actor said that in the latter half of 2012, he would be working on a number of new projects, revealing: "In the second half of the year I have many films."

Kapoor, who was involved in a high-profile relationship with Kareena Kapoor, and has been linked to a number of his Bollywood co-stars, also confirmed that he is now single.

"I am available. It takes a certain amount of time to establish yourself. It's better if your partner is with you to share your journey in life," Kapoor stated.

He has spent the last two years working exclusively on Mausam, which was released in the last quarter of 2011.
