Shahid Kapoor: 'We shouldn't copy older generation of actors'

The actor is reportedly keen to star in a more commercial movie following his role in the historical love story Mausam.
Kapoor told Hindustan Times: "The newer generation should not try to ape anybody else. I don't think that's a formula to success, that's what I feel for our generation.
"I think it's important to find your own space. We have to discover how is our generation going to provide masala entertainment and that is on the agenda. Hopefully we'll find solutions to it."
In September, the star admitted that he had been out of his comfort zone when acting in Mausam.
Kapoor will next be seen in August this year performing on stage for Ranbir Kapoor's world tour of musical hits.
