Prateik: 'I work out to impress women'

Praetik has claimed that he enjoys nothing more than going to the gym to work out.

The 25-year-old actor will next be seen starring opposite rumoured girlfriend Amy Jackson in the upcoming Ek Tha Deewana.

Praetik told The Times of India: "I like being fit, I like doing weights. I like looking and feeling good. It's a stress-buster, it de-stresses me completely. After a hard day's work, there is nothing like a good workout.

"Girls are the ones who inspire boys to look good. If a nice girl comes and you are looking like a dud, it won't look good. They inspire you. If a beautiful woman walks by, you would want to impress her."

The Aarakshan star has refused to reveal whether he is in a relationship with his Liverpool-born co-star Jackson.

In November, a source close to the pair said that Praetik had been helping Jackson establish herself in Mumbai.
