Vidya Balan's item number won't be another 'Chikni Chameli'

Vidya Balan's item track will not be another 'Chikni Chameli', according to director Rajesh Mapuskar.

The filmmaker said that Balan's performance will be more aesthetic than Katrina Kaif's Agneepath performance.

Although both songs come from the Lavani tradition of Marathi folk music, Mapuskar explained: "Katrina`s dance is inspiring us to do better."

Mapuskar reportedly attempted nine different looks before zeroing in on the Lavani folk number.

The No One Killed Jessica star is expected to undertake rehearsals for three weeks for the song.

Balan's first item track will feature in the upcoming release Ferrari Ki Sawaari.
