Salman Khan has revealed that plans for a sequel to Atul Agnihotri's Bodyguard have been shelved.
The actor said that there would be little point in further developing a follow-up to last year's biggest Bollywood film, reports Hindustan Times.
Khan explained: "There was no story to take forward. It all ended beautifully. So, we've now decided to make another film together, but the work hasn't started on it yet."

The star also said that the Sohail Khan-produced Sher Khan had been delayed owing to the actor's extensive workload.
"We can't start it immediately, though I know the project is superb. So, Sohail is taking his time to complete the pre-production work on Sher Khan. And once that's done, we'll start, even if it's after three years from now," he added.
The actor is presently in Cuba shooting Ek Tha Tiger with Katrina Kaif.
