Parineeti Chopra has said that she did not seek assistance from cousin Priyanka Chopra when entering Bollywood.
The Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl actor said that her cousin has instead given her valuable advice on the industry.
Parineeti told Mumbai Mirror: "I think I am very happy to have a sister like her. She is on my speed dial. She scolds me and tells me what to do. I follow her blindly.

"She has been in the industry for 10 years and knows how to handle situations. Also, she understands me. We are very similar in a lot of ways."
Parineeti won the 'Best Female Newcomer' trophy at this year's Filmfare Awards for her unconventional debut with Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma in Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl.
"I never asked for Priyanka's help to get the job though," she said of her casting in the Yash Raj production.
The actress said that her role in Aditya Chopra's Ishaqzaade differs to her first feature.
"I play a brash Punjabi girl - fat, cute, badtameez ladki in Ricky Bahl. Ishaqzaade is the complete opposite. For Adi to have invested so much money on me means I must have something right. Ishaqzaade is an outstanding script," she said.
