The music video from the Bollywood-meets-film noir project was shot at a number of locations around London.
Shan revealed: "'Rog' is sung by Falak who is also the voice behind 'Tera Saath Ho' and 'Mera Mann'. 'Rog' was shot in a closed set in a warehouse and also towards the Canary Wharf Docklands area.
"It is one of those upbeat fast numbers that will make you sing aloud and get your dancing shoes on."
The promo sees the debut actor wearing a white T-shirt emblazoned with the number '7' across the chest.
Explaining the significance of the film's name, Shan said: "The title seems a bit different and that has intrigued people and captured their imagination. Everyone in this world has a favourite number that they believe is connected to their fate or destiny.
"For me, that number is seven, whatever I have done in my life has always had some connection to that number," he went on to add.
"In the film, the protagonist becomes associated with the number, and this has a massive impact on his life."
The British Hindi thriller is scheduled to release March 9.
