Shooting of a Mallika Sherawat track, at Mumbai's Filmistan Studios, was interrupted by members of the pro-Maharashtrian group, claims Mid Day.
"They said that they would not allow foreigners to shoot for a Hindi movie in Maharashtra," a unit source explained.
"The production head explained to them that the foreigners were there for a couple of shots that would be wrapped up in just an hour."
Actors Ajay Devgn and Zayed Khan were reportedly present on the set of the action film when the incident took place.
"After we had finished a couple of shots featuring the foreigners, they left. And the shoot continued as normally as before," added the unit source.
The project, said to be based on the Keanu Reeves hit Speed, has shot key exterior scenes across the UK.
The Shiv Sena have previously protested against a bare-back image of Kareena Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan's planned appearance on a Pakistani TV channel.
