The comic production became the biggest Bollywood hit of the year when it released in 2005.
Announcing the remake, a statement proclaimed: "On the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa, which marks the beginning of New Year for Maharashtrians, Underground Films Pvt. Ltd. brings in a reason to smile.
"The production house announces the super-hit blockbuster Bollywood film No Entry which was directed by Anees Bazmee for producer Boney Kapoor, to be made in Marathi titled No Entry Pudhe Dhoka Aahey."
Khan led an ensemble cast of Anil Kapoor, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu, Fardeen Khan, Esha Deol and Celina Jaitley in the Hindi version.
Basu's performance of the film's title track remains popular seven years after the project released.
A sequel to the Bollywood comedy titled No Entry Mein Entry is reported to have been shelved.
Shooting on the Marathi remake is scheduled to begin in May 2012 in Goa and Mumbai.
