Imran Zahid has revealed that he is to make his acting debut in Jism 2.
The actor was previously cast in Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt's Chandu before the project was scrapped.
He told Hindustan Times:: "I play a narcotics detective in Jism 2. I am looking forward to starting work on it. There's excitement and nervousness.
"As a youngster, I watched [Mahesh] Bhatt saab's films. I am a small town boy. I am from Bokaro. For me, it's a big thing to work with someone like him and Pooja [Bhatt], whose Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahin I watched as a youngster.
"Bhatt saab is like a godfather, and I am really looking forward to Jism 2."
The producer recently said that Indian audiences prefer sex-themed films to serious cinema.
Fight Club star Dino Morea has said that casting former porn star Sunny Leone as a love interest is good publicity for the film.
