Khan has remained silent on the social networking site since returning to India from the UK, following completion of the first schedule of Yash Chopra's upcoming project.
Fans of the actor have used the hashtag #wemissSRK to discuss Khan's extended Twitter break. A group titled 'Shah Rukh Khan come back on Twitter' has also been set up on Facebook.
The Bollywood star recently spoke to VJ Asad Shan about his relationship with social networking.
Khan said: "I have a huge take on where it is headed right now, how things happen. As a matter of fact, I'll be very honest, I have gone quieter on Twitter.
"You write something and even that becomes news and taken on as what you did not mean it to. I have a different take, social media has made us a little more unsociable."
The Don 2 actor is expected to return to the UK in June to begin the second British schedule of his Yash Raj Films release, alongside Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
The love-triangle romance is scheduled to release in November.
