Rubina Ali has said that she would like to star in a sequel to her debut film Slumdog Millionaire.

The Indian actress told Digital Spy that she hopes to continue acting while she completes her education.

Ali revealed: "I have been away from the screen for a long time. I am still waiting to hear what is happening with the Hollywood project Lord Owen's Lady, and of course would say 'yes' to an offer to do a sequel to Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire."

In 2009, the actress was approached to star with Anthony Hopkins in Lord Owen's Lady, to be shot in the UK and India. However, the project has reportedly stalled while funding is raised for the film.

Ali recently completed two music videos with music director and singer Parkash Satti.

After debuting the track 'Pagla Gaya Hoon Main' earlier this month, Satti has unveiled new song 'Mera Naam Parkash Hai'.

Satti indicated that the Mumbai-based star enjoyed making the two videos.

"Rubina - like any other girl - dreams of wearing beautiful dresses, but she wasn't able to buy them," Satti commented.

"When her family gets money they just spend it, so she was glad to be treated like a princess after long time during shooting and to wear many new outfits."

Ali also said that she is a fan of Indian cinema and would like to act with Hindi film star Salman Khan in a Bollywood project.
