The Bollywood stars have avoided the media during their holiday, except at a charity dinner in London on June 15, BollyNews UK reports.
Speaking about managing her career with motherhood, Aishwarya revealed: "Pretty much like everyone else here. It is not easy but this evening is amongst the first baby steps to embrace life as it is today. Being a mum is like bliss and I absolutely love it."
The Mistress of Spices star said that she had no fixed plans as to when she would start work on a new film.
"I have no clue. I have no idea how the last six and a half months have just flown by. We will see as it goes and you all will know whenever it is meant to be," she said.
The function was organised by Leicester-based diabetes charity Silver Star, founded by UK MP Keith Vaz.
Complimenting his wife's parenting skills, Abhishek added: "I don't get much time changing nappies as I would like to. She [Aishwarya] has the honour of doing that.
"She does all the hard work and is fantastic."
