The former Miss India plays a beauty queen desperate to be an actress in an upcoming romantic comedy directed by directed by Saurabh Shukla.
She told Mid Day: "When you're playing a familiar part, the struggles are similar to the ones you faced while you were trying to make it.
"But to a certain extent only. Besides, your real life has more ups and downs than the character you're exhibiting does as the movie ends at a point.
"There are a lot more challenges as you move ahead. In simpler words, the more famous you get, the less room there is for mistakes."
In November, she claimed that money is not her main priority in making a Bollywood career.
She has previously described Sonam Kapoor and Audrey Hepburn as her fashion industry icons.
