The new release is the highest-rated feature film of 2012 - ahead of nearest rival The Avengers - and one of four Bollywood projects at the top end of the chart.
"It doesn't mean much, but it's still very cool seeing almost half the top 10 consisting of Bollywood films. Way to go," Vera Wessel from Ishq magazine told Digital Spy.

From over 1,000 votes, Anurag Kashyap's Gangs of Wasseypur averages a user rating of 8.8 out of 10, inching ahead of The Avengers at 8.6.
Indian films Kahaani (8.2) Vicky Donor (8.0) and Shanghai (7.8) also make appearances in the top ten, alongside Moonrise Kingdom, Conquest 1453, Ted, Rust & Bone and The Amazing Spider-Man.
Gangs of Wasseypur - which released in June - was selected to open this year's London Indian Film Festival.
The epic film, which is about a son seeking vengeance when his father is killed by a coal mine owner, also screened to positive reviews at Cannes 2012.
