The actress is currently making both Kya Super Kool Hain Hum and Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story.
A source told DNA India: "Neha by mistake allotted common dates to Kya Super Kool Hain Hum and Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story, creating a lot of ruckus between both the films' units. The overlapping of dates meant that either one of them would have lost one or two days because of the miscommunication.
"It left both the producers angry with her. With Kya Super Kool Hain Hum scheduled to release in August, they couldn't afford to lose any day, which left [producer] Ekta [Kapoor] really miffed with the young actor.
"Neha is now working overtime and doing double shifts to complete both the films in time."
Kya Super Kool Hain Hum co-star Riteish Deshmukh has said that the new young cast makes the sex comedy sequel look "fresh".
Sharma made her debut in the controversial Crook: It's Good to be Bad in 2010.
