Sales of black and white checked scarves, as worn by the actor, have seen a large sales increase since the film released.
"In the past few days we've had many Salman fans coming to our stall to buy the black and white keffiyehs he wears in the movie," a trader in Mumbai's Colaba shopping district told Digital Spy.
"It's not just the scarf itself that has become a rage, but the way Salman bhai has tied it in a relaxed, casual way hanging loose behind."
Khan earlier initiated fashion trends with his hairstyle in Tere Naam and sunglasses in Dabangg, as well as the turquoise and silver bracelet he routinely wears.
The star's Being Human charity range of T-shirts has also found popularity in India, with a number of new stores selling the line expected to open by the end of the year.
Ek Tha Tiger is said to have had a record-breaking opening as it plays to packed houses in India and internationally.
