The Jannat 2 actress plays a rival superstar to Basu's fading actress in the supernatural thriller.
She told the Hindustan Times: "Bipasha and I don't have many scenes together. But she is my senior and I have been a fan since Jism. I was in awe of her. I couldn't believe I was hugging and chatting with her.
"In the film, there's a senior actor played by Bipasha Basu and I play an upcoming, in-demand actor, who makes others insecure. I don't know about real superstars, as I am not one yet. I clean my own utensils, my house and I even travel alone. I don't know what the life of a superstar is like."
Raaz 3 producer Mahesh Bhatt has said the thriller reflects Basu's real-life experiences as an actress in her early thirties.
However, director Vikram Bhatt has admitted that Basu's character is based on his ex-girlfriend, actress Amisha Patel.
