'Barfi!' song 'Aashiyan' released - watch

A new song has been released from the film Barfi!

The song 'Aashiyan' - performed by Nikhil Paul George - features Ranbir Kapoor with Priyanka Chopra, who plays an autistic girl named Jhilmil.



Described as "a song that will steal your hearts", the video provides a closer look at Chopra's character, who has been largely absent from previous trailers.

Kapoor, who plays the role of a deaf and mute man who seeks out romance, apparently based his look in the film on his grandfather Raj Kapoor.

Directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur, the film also stars Ileana D'Cruz.

Fans of Kapoor will have a chance to meet the Rockstar actor in person at Cineworld Feltham on Monday, August 27 at 7.30pm, where he will be interacting with the public ahead of the film's release.

Barfi! releases on September 14, 2012.
