Yash Raj Films has revealed the title and first poster of their forthcoming release, which is to be called Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

The trend for using lines from popular songs as film titles appears to be continuing with this latest release.

The movie's name, which has been shrouded in secrecy and the focus of much speculation, is taken from a song from Sholay entitled 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan Main Nachunge' ('As long as I have life in me I will dance'), performed by Hema Malini, the Hindustan Times reports.

The title, which was accompanied with lyrics from one of the film's songs, has been trending worldwide on Twitter and has received mixed responses from the public.

@dhoni_srk28 wrote: "It is EPIC .. and the poem gave extra goosebumps... Jab Tak Hai Jaan."

@aashumi gave the opposing view: "Soo much suspense and this name 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' Really? #FAIL."

Starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma, the film marks Yash Chopra's directorial comeback after an eight-year hiatus. Chopra is also celebrating 50 years as a filmmaker.

A synopsis of the film was revealed on IMDB describing it as the story of a "happily married musician, who meets a woman who turns out exactly like his imaginary muse".

It has since been revealed that Khan plays a bomb disposal expert named Samar. The actor has most recently been shooting scenes for the film in the Kashmir Valley.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan releases on November 13.
