The first track from Jab Tak Hai Jaan was released today (October 1).
With lyrics by Gulzar, music by AR Rahman and performance by Punjabi-Sufiyana singer Rabbi Shergill, the video for 'Challa' sees Shah Rukh Khan busking around locations in London including Trafalgar Square, Butler's Wharf, the South Bank, Canary Wharf and St Pancras Station.
Speaking on Twitter, Khan announced the song's release by saying: "Challa will be out on the 1st of Oct. Looking forward to it ... haven't seen it since we finished shooting it."
Khan plays a bomb disposal expert called Samar in the film, which also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.
In a recent 'In Conversation' interview with Yash Chopra to mark the acclaimed director's 80th birthday, Khan described working with Yash Chopra as the "nicest experience" of his career.
Chopra and Khan sang a couple of lines from 'Challa' during the talk. The actor also revealed some of the lyrics from the film's title track on Twitter.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan releases on November 13.
