The couple, who were married in a registry ceremony yesterday afternoon (October 16), exchanged vows at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai, NDTV reports.
Manish Malhotra, who designed the Heroine star's wedding trousseau, described the wedding function by saying: "They just exchanged vows at the Taj Mahal hotel in Colaba. There were no 'saath pheras'... They did not adhere to any particular style (of wedding)."

Tweeting about the bridal preparations, Malhotra said: "So me and my team is here to get kareena dress as a bride :-) First we style and fit the vintage traditional outfit on kareena:-) After the vows for the wedding party change into outfit made by me :-)
"I worked on the antique Pataudi gharara that was restored by Ritu Kumar for Kareena's wedding... we did the final fittings and added a bit of touch of embroidery here and there."
