The first-born child of star couple Abhishek and Aishwarya, the Bachchan family are expected to gather for a private family celebration, NDTV Movies reports.

Speaking at an event for under-privileged children for NGO the Magic Bus, Rai-Bachchan said: "Time just flies and now she [Aaradhya] will turn one year old. For Aaradhya's first Diwali, we had both friends and family at our place, but for her first birthday, we plan to keep it a private and family affair. It will be with family and my parents."
Writing on Facebook, Amitabh Bachchan thanked fans for their birthday messages for his granddaughter saying: "FB 29 - Thank you all for your kind and generous wishes for Aaradhya, on her first birthday... i shall tell her about it and knowing how this generation can keep records, this missive shall also be available to her when she is big enough to read ! My love and wishes to all …"
The Bachchan baby, who has been largely shielded from view, made her first public appearance on the occasion of grandfather Amitabh's 70th birthday party.
Aaradhya accompanied her mother to the Cannes Film Festival and recently visited father Abhishek Bachchan on the set of Dhoom 3 in Chicago.
Aaradhya has reportedly received a red Mini Cooper as a gift from her parents.
