The film will now open after Khan's film and superhero thriller Krrish 3, according to Bollywood Hungama.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Saawariya tanked after coinciding with 2007 blockbuster Om Shanti Om.

Ram Leela is a contemporary Indian update of Romeo and Juliet.

Star Ranveer Singh recently said that he will appear topless in the film in order to appeal to female viewers.

Padukone replaced Kareena Kapoor after the latter reportedly refused to sign a contract with a no-pregnancy clause.
