"My first release of 2013 is David. I sing a beautiful romantic number 'Tere Mere Pyaar Ki' for the first time in three languages - Hindi, Tamil and Telugu," Pandit told Digital Spy.
"The music launch took place in Chennai with Tabu, Vikram, Jiiva, Isha Sharvani and Lara Dutta. The most interesting thing to share about this project is that I also act in this film. It's my debut as an actor and I play a interesting and significant character in it and also sing.
"So it's like a double treat and I feel blessed and I thank my director Bejoy Nambiar for making this happen. He had earlier directed Shaitan and this is his second film."
Two slightly different versions of the movie have been filmed for the Bollywood and Tamil markets.
Pandit, who recently launched her first English language track - a cover of 'I Dreamed A Dream' - went on to reveal details of an upcoming concert and more new music.
"I go on my world tour in March-April 2013 in the US and Canada and then release two more singles. Lots more Bollywood songs will be out too but I am waiting for the names of the movies," she said.
