Ajay Devgan has said that he no longer wants to star in risqué films.

The Son of Sardaar actor is currently shooting the political drama Satyagraha.

He told The Times of India: "I have decided not to do anything that you can't watch with family. I don't want to do any film which has A-certificate.

"I was recently watching a Hindi film, and my father [action director Veeru Devgan] got up and went away. Later, when I asked him, 'Where did you go?', he said, 'They were wearing such clothes, I thought you guys would be embarrassed watching it with me'. My father is from the film industry, if he can walk out, you can imagine.

"I don't want to do such films. It is a myth that if you show vulgarity or 'kam kapade' (skimpy dresses), the film will work."

In January, the star said that he does not think films have to be critical hits in order to be successful.

He recently said that remaking the 1981 film Himmatwala made him nostalgic for his early career in the industry.
