Madhuri Dixit is to perform a mujra in director Abhishek Chaubey's Dedh Ishqiya.

Dixit will perform the dance on a song titled 'Apke Karar Mein' composed by filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj, PTI reports.

"The song is ready and we will be shooting for it after we are done with filming the entire movie. I can't reveal much but I will say that it is a very elaborate number which will be shot on a big set," producer Ketan Maru said in a statement.

The dance sequence will see Dixit reunite with Kathak exponent Pandit Birju Maharaj, who she previously worked with for a song in Devdas.

"I am doing a song with Madhuri again in Dedh Ishqiya after 'Maar Dala'," said Maharaj. "She is a great dancer and it is always a delight to work with her."

The actress recently shot a song opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the forthcoming Karan Johar-produced Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.

The 45-year-old, who is a trained Kathak dancer, launched an online dance academy earlier this year called Dance with Madhuri.

Starring Naseeruddin Shah and Arshad Warsi, Dedh Ishqiya is a sequel to the 2010 hit film Ishqiya.
