Kapil Sharma and Yuvraaj Parashar have announced that they are making a sequel to Dunno Y... Na Jaane Kyun.

The lead actors unveiled the first look teaser of the film at the Kashish festival in Mumbai on Saturday (May 25).

Speaking to Digital Spy just before the event, Parashar said: "For me it's a very special day.

"My father who in anger disowned me for playing a gay character in Dunno Y...Na Jaane Kyun will be there today with me at the teaser launch to support me."

The Tonje Gjevjon-directed sequel will be entirely shot in Norway and is being made in three languages: Norwegian, English and Hindi.

Sharma added: "Today couldn't be more luckier. Here as we look forward to the Dunno Y... 2 teaser launch at the prestigious Kashish festival I also get the news of Dunno Y... Na Jaane Kyun's selection at the Q Fest film festival of Houston."

Featuring the first gay kiss in Indian cinema, the 2010 release went on to win nine awards on the international film festival circuit, following screenings in Norway, Israel, Greece, Germany, Switzerland, USA, UK, and Australia.

While the original film was a serious drama, the sequel will be a light, breezy romantic comedy, revealed the actors.

Dunno Y... 2 is scheduled to release in 2014.
