Hallmark has unveiled a £2 million marketing campaign to push its new acquisitions.
The first phase of the campaign - launched last Tuesday - supports new Canadian cop series Blue Murder. The channel has picked up the basic pay rights to the first four seasons of the show, which it plans to strip at 9pm, Wednesdays to Sundays, from May 17.
As well as ad spots across multichannel, the promotion also includes poster advertising at 550 prime sites around the UK.
Vicky Mitchell, marketing director at Hallmark, said: "The Blue Murder campaign is the first of several we’ll be running this year as part of a £2m investment in marketing the channel and its great new line-up of programmes here in the UK."
