BBC Radio Wales is to make significant changes to it presenter line-up from September.
Roy Noble will move his two-hour programme to the afternoon taking on the challenge of radio's most notoriously difficult time slot.
Noble said: "I'm looking forward to the challenge of moving to the afternoons. I've got a loyal army of fans and I'm hoping they'll be right behind me."
A new three-hour morning magazine programme from 9am will be presented by Wales Today's Jamie Owen and X Ray's Louise Elliott.
Radio Wales editor Sali Collins said: "Radio Wales is enjoying unprecedented success at the moment, but we can't afford to be complacent. We must evolve, and this is a good time to introduce a new schedule to help build our afternoon audience while drawing in new listeners during the morning."
Owen Money will continue to host his Money For Nothing show on Saturday mornings and Sunday afternoons while Alan Thompson will front the station's weekday evening show from Monday to Thursday.
Mal Pope will continue to present on Friday evenings and Adam Walton will remain as presenter of the Sunday night new music show and technology magazine Mousemat.
The station says the schedule rethink, which begins on September 7, is part of its broader strategy to build on its "popular appeal and unique strengths."
"We realise this is a change for our listeners and we hope that they will enjoy the new line-up," said Sali Collins.
