A quick report to update you on the result of the Edinburgh edition of Stars in their Eyes, with industry figures as the contestants.
Vernon Kaye stepped into Cat Deeley's shoes - and underwear, he claims - to host proceedings in his inimitable, LOUD style.
All five were awful. Here's who performed what:
- Wall To Wall chief exec Alex Graham screeched and moaned his way through Joe Cocker's 'With A Little Help From My Friends'
- Newsnight editor Peter Barron became Elvis Costello
- Broadcast reporter Paul Revoir took on the Divine Comedy's National Express
- Bravo controller Johnny Webb gave a bug-eyed performance of David Bowie's Space Oddity
- Richard Woolfe closed proceedings with a take on Queen's 'Don't Stop Me Now'
Delegates voted for their faves via text message, and despite the masses of the BSkyB, Alex Graham was crowned the victor.
