Fox News has hit back at rapper Nas for accusing the broadcaster of being racist, the BBC reports.
The artist, who attacked the network in his song 'Sly Fox', joined protesters outside the organisation's headquarters and criticised the company further.
He said: "Fox poisons this country every time they air racist propaganda and try and call it news."
Nas cited recent comments from a guest suggesting that both Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden should be assassinated.
Fox News anchor Bill O'Reilly hit back at the rapper, claiming that the outbursts were to promote his new album, which he described as "a bomb, a disaster, a catastrophe".
A spokeswoman for Fox commented: "Fox News believes in all protesters exercising their right to free speech, including Nas, who has an album to promote."
