The BBC's national digital radio services are now available from the Midhurst transmitter.

Around 135,000 people in parts of Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex are now able to receive the BBC's DAB services for the first time. Towns covered by the transmitter in addition to Midhurst itself include Alton, Haslemere, Horsham, and Petersfield.

Midhurst is the eighteenth transmitter to go live with the BBC's national digital radio services in a coverage expansion plan currently being implemented by the corporation.
