Bauer's Mojo digital radio station will cease broadcasting at the end of this month.

The magazine spin-off station, which is available on satellite, Freeview and the internet, will go off the air on November 30.

According to the most recent radio audience survey from RAJAR, Mojo had a 0.1% market share and 259,000 listeners in the period June to September. It had, however, managed to increase the number of hours each listener tuned in for both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year.

"We had to make a very difficult choice where the resources should go and decided they were best going into building the other parts of the portfolio," said Bauer Radio's managing director of national brands Mark Story.

Bauer may transfer some Mojo content to a programming strand on Q Radio.
