
More than 4 million viewers tuned in last night (Thursday) for a documentary exploring the 'truth' behind Dan Brown's controversial novel 'The Da Vinci Code,' according to overnight ratings data.
The Real Da Vinci Code, hosted by Tony Robinson, averaged a healthy 4.1 million viewers - a 19.9% share of the audience - between 9pm and 11pm, peaking halfway through with 4.5 million (20.6%).
The show managed the feat of trumping both ITV1 and BBC One for the majority of its run, including outperforming the news bulletins on both channels.
