BBC One's 10pm bulletin ranked as the most-watched national news show of the day with an average of 4.73 million (23.4%) over 30 minutes. ITV1's 10.30pm bulletin had 1.86 million (12.3%).
The latest election broadcast from the Conservatives reached an aggregate audience of 13.04 million viewers across the evening.
Elsewhere, BBC Two's Newsnight Debate was seen by 1.16 million (8.1%) at 10.30pm, up around 20% on the show's usual ratings.

Sky News breakfast show Sunrise was down slightly to an average of 39,000 (1.47%) between 6am and 9.30am, as was its usually reliable Michael Jackson Trial Update with just 27,000 (1%) at 9.30am.
During the daytime, News 24 managed a win with an average of 46,000 viewers and a 1% share between 10am and 7pm, over Sky News' 39,000 (0.81%) average.
