Ofcom has revoked the broadcast licence for shopping channel One TV after it failed to pay its fee.

The regulator sent the broadcaster a final reminder about the £2,000 on June 6 with a two-week deadline. A further reminder - with a one-week deadline - was sent on July 7.

One TV failed to pay the fee and consequently had its licence to broadcast revoked.

The channel had previously been under investigation from the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) after 65 viewers complained that orders had not been fulfilled and refunds had not been given.
