Capital Radio has announced a new Saturday schedule for January 2007, adding two new presenters.
Dave Berry, best known for presenting CD:UK and MTV's TRL UK on TV, will make his first foray into radio, from January 6. The 2-5pm show will be a mix of celebrity chat and chart music, and will run for 4 weeks.
Berry said: "It is great that I have been given this opportunity, as I am fully aware of how dark and miserable January can be! It will be nice to bring a few laughs and a bit of rock and roll to a Saturday afternoon."
ITV regular Matt Brown, who presented Celebrity Love Island After Sun and I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, takes a look at 30 Greatest... each week in his new 12-2pm show. Subjects include divas, number ones, acoustic sessions and Brits winners.
Brown said: "Having listened to Capital Radio throughout my short, yet beautiful life I can't wait to get into those legendary 95.8 studios and talk to London whilst it's having its lunch."
No stranger to radio, Brown started his career in BBC Radio and presenting Commercial Radio Networks national coverage of Live 8.
Capital Radio's programme director, Scott Muller, said: "What great a way to start the New Year, these two credible presenters are fantastic additions to the schedule, and I am sure, with their quick wit, charisma and charm they will be very popular with Capital's listeners."
