The History Channel HD has launched a new interactive website.

The site shows some of the HD programming on the channel, which launched last October.

It also allows users to access programme listings and information, outlinines the technology behind HD, and provides details about the equipment necessary to view the channel, which appears on Sky channel number 545.

The History Channel in the US plans to launch an HD channel later this year.
