Google-owned YouTube has reportedly released the identity of a user who uploaded illegal copies of 24 to the video-sharing site in compliance with a US District Court subpoena.

According to internetnews.com, 20th Century Fox Television has confirmed that it has received the user data of an individual who uploaded full copies of four 24 episodes a week before the show's new season started airing on Fox this year.

It is also understood that the identity of a second user who uploaded episodes of The Simpsons to another video sharing site, LiveDigital, was also disclosed by that website's operators.
