The BBC is currently reviewing its decision to remove news reader Moira Stuart from her regular Sunday AM slot, after receiving criticism from a number of stars.

Jeremy Paxman, Andrew Marr and John Humphrys are among those who have come forward to criticise the move.

They discussed the issue while appearing on Question Time, when David Dimbleby accused the BBC of making "change for the sake of change".

After removing the distinguished newsreader from her regular slot on Sunday morning the BBC was widely accused of ageism.

However, the broadcaster is reportedly now in talks with Stuart about the possibility of a job on another BBC channel.
