Don Imus / NBC 'Today'
CBS Radio has filed a lawsuit against a small Californian radio station for airing re-runs of Don Imus' programme since he was fired for making a racist comment about a women's basketball team.
The KCAA-AM station has broadcast Imus' show since 2003. On Monday it started airing old shows as well as phone calls and emails responding to his controversial comment.
The lawsuit claims that the station violated copyright protections. In court papers, CBS stated that KCAA "have made it clear … that only a judicial decree will prevent them from persisting in their actions."
