ITV director of digital channels Jonathan Lewis is to quit the broadcaster after seven years, it was confirmed today.

Lewis plans to leave ITV in September to become chief executive of the Adventure Capital Fund, a nonprofit community investment group.

"Jonathan has done a fantastic job in building the ITV channels into the success story they are today," said ITV director of television Simon Shaps. "He leaves them in rude health and we wish him all the very best in his new role."
