ITN has struck a deal to offer free news and entertainment programming on iTunes.
The service will present pre-roll ads provided by Ad Infuse before each download and feature content from the news broadcaster's mobile services. Certain other content, including daily football programme EPL, will also be available on iTunes.
"As a leading producer of high quality video content for online and mobile platforms, ITN On see Ad infuse as a key partner for making our news, entertainment and sports content available to end users on mobile devices," said Nicholas Wheeler, managing director of ITN On. "For us at ITN this partnership will engage more users with our content and extend our brand’s reputation as a provider of high quality video journalism on new media platforms."
Last week, ITN launched a channel on YouTube.
