Outen to join Vaughan on Capital this month

Denise Van Outen is to join Johnny Vaughan on his Capital FM breakfast show this month.

She has reportedly been finalising her fee for the role which will see the Big Breakfast pair reunited.

A source told the Mail on Sunday: "Denise was having final-stage negotiations with bosses at Capital just before Christmas.

"They hunted her down and Denise has negotiated a six-figure deal. Her pay packet won't be far off Johnny's, which will really rile him.

"The station has coughed up, though, because it is desperate to claw back listeners and is convinced Johnny and Denise will do that."
