Q Radio has lined up Russell Kane and Eddie Piller as two of its first ever DJs.
The station - currently a jukebox-style music-only service - will introduce scheduled programming on June 2.
A one-off show in which REM will play 15 of their favourite songs has already been ordered for Q Radio's relaunch day and former Xfm DJ Samanthi will host a music show each evening.
The Bauer-owned service today announced that Kane, a comedian who has worked on programmes including Big Brother's Big Mouth, would have a weekly Sunday show.
The show will be "fast-paced and spontaneous and characterised by his unique sharp wit", said Q.
Piller, who was manager at legendary record label Stiff Records, will present a Friday night show. He has previously DJed for, among other stations, Jazz FM and BBC 6 Music.
He said: "I am really excited about being part of Q Radio. We have a unique opportunity here to create a really special station with vision."
